Deduct meal deliveries
Meal deliveries from UberEats, Deliveroo or other take out meals? Accountants don't quite seem to agree on this.
Some accountants classify a delivery by, for example, Deliveroo, as restaurant costs and deduct it for 69%, although the meal was not consumed at a restaurant.
At Accountable we do it as follows: if you invite a partner or client to eat take out at your office, you deduct the delivery for 50%, because we count it as a reception cost.
Of course, you will always need to prove the professional nature of the cost.
🔨 De delivery has to happen at your work space. So make sure you make a difference between living and workspace in your food delivery app.
